Io sono LEONOR FINI
The exhibition Io sono LEONOR FINI (I am LEONOR FINI) is one of the most significant and complete retrospectives ever dedicated to the visionary and rebellious universe of the Italian-Argentine artist Leonor Fini (Buenos Aires, 1907 – Paris, 1996).
This exposition represents a crucial moment of rediscovery of the artist’s figure, shedding new light on her work and revealing her deepest character, today more relevant than ever, thanks to the issues she addressed and called into question: from gender to identity through to consolidated family models, the masculine and the feminine.
The presentation features over 100 works, including paintings, drawings, photographs, costumes and videos, ranging from painting to fashion, from literature to theatre. The exhibition reveals Leonor Fini’s imagination, starting from encounters and impressions in her early youth, through to her formative years in Trieste, Milan and Paris, where Fini formed lasting relationships with intellectuals and artists who guided her on her path in painting.
Unipol is the Main Partner of this important exhibition held at Palazzo Reale in Milan from 26 February to 22 June 2025.
